Webcomic news in a nutshell

Here are some things that happened in webcomics while I was gone:

The Eisner Award nominations came out, and Abominable Charles Christopher, Zahra’s Paradise, The Bean, Lackadaisy, and Max Overacts got the nods for Best Digital Comic.

Portal 2 came out, as did the Portal 2 webcomic.

CAD was … being CAD.

About El Santo

Somehow ended up reading and reviewing almost 300 different webcomics. Life is funny, huh? Despite owning two masks, is not actually a luchador.

  1. Ah CAD: the gift that keeps on giving!

  2. Wow, CAD tame yet offensive. You guys have contradictions down.

  3. As of this moment I am unable to access the linked CAD strip, probably because even its own server is balking at the idea of serving it up.

    • Just so you know, Tim Buckley ended up changing the comic 4 times because of the bad press it got. However, if you read the accompanying blog post, he’s pretty much unrepentant. He even posts a link to the original, unaltered comic in the end.

  4. Every time I try to forget about Buckley he does something crazy again.

For some reason I didn’t know about that portal comic. Now I just want the game even more.

  5. Buckley’s a fucking scumbag. There’s a lot of terrible webcomics in the world, but out of all those comics, none of them are written by someone as low on the totem pole of human worth as Buckley. Even that libertarian aryan nationalist furry who does “Better Days” has (very little) more net value as a human being than Buckley.

  6. the reason incredible, free coins s with no effort
